• after drying, the planks are planed: the smooth and even surface makes cleaning easier,
• the planks have round edges, no sharp edges: stored foods are safe from all damage,
• wooden crates are constructed with ring nails of proper sizes,
• metal fasteners with embossments increase the bending resistance of the wooden crate by 50%,
• all metal components are galvanized for protection against corrosion,
• deckboard spacing up to 20 mm,
• reinforcing struts with milled angles make it easier to unload the wooden crate,
• the bottom platform is made of hardwood, oak or beech, which increases durability and resistance to moisture,
