Key features of the skid wooden crate for fruit:

• the design of the wooden crate allows the forks of a forklift a one-way entry (the 1200 side),
• the bottom deck is based on 3 strong blocks of quality timber,
• the wooden components are made out of high-quality softwood,
• the wooden crate is reinforced with zinc-plated hinges to make it more stiff and rigid,
• no sharp edges on the planks: stored fruit are safe from all damage,
• planks are planed or sawed using a multi-blade saw with polishing discs: their smooth and even surface makes cleaning easier and protects the stored fruit against bacteria and fungi,
• every side of the pallet is fitted with a handle for manual transport, while the bottom part is fitted with notches designed for use on seaport shipping docks,
• the bottom planks are made of hardwood (oak) which increases durability and resistance to moisture,
• easy to manoeuvre with a forklift truck thanks to the bottom deckboard with milled angles,
• the second plank from top is partly covered with black paint for note-making, e.g. the name of the fruit, storage guidelines.

Optionally, a special type of glue may be used for the assembly of the skid wooden crates to make them more sturdy and durable.
